About Kris Mesner
Once a dancer turned aerobics instructor in the ’80s, Kris found herself captivated with the fashion industry after Gilda Marx hired her to open Flexatard retail storefronts and Body Design by Gilda franchise studios throughout the United States. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Kris eventually landed in Dallas where she had her first experience as a sales representative for European lingerie brands such as Ripcosa and Lise Charmel. After spending a few years in the South, Kris moved to New York to work on 7th Avenue where she received much of her training in sales and merchandising at a vertical manufacturer specializing in plus size women's sportswear. After spending more than 9 years working with some of the largest big box retailers and department stores throughout the US, Kris moved to Europe to continue her passion for fashion. After spending a couple of years traveling Europe she found herself missing home and moved back to Los Angeles where she opened her own Contemporary Fashion showroom, focusing on Intimate Apparel, Swim and Loungewear.
Outside of her work, Kris is deeply invested in supporting Women in Business. She is an avid Animal Rights Advocate. She lives an environmentally conscious lifestyle and as a long-time animal advocate has volunteered with local shelters and animal rescue nonprofits for the last 15 years. Today she is an active Board Member at WUFAW- Women United for Animal Welfare a 501(c)(3) non profit that believes the best way to make an impact on animal cruelty around the world is through education and creating awareness on the value of animals in our society and the benefits they provide to our culture and environment.

Kris is actively working to integrate her charitable endeavors into her business. Each morning Kris starts her day with mindful meditation and an intensive yoga practice. She shares her life with her spouse and their five furry rescue animals and loves to cook using the herbs and vegetables from her organic garden.
